Born in Klagenfurt in 1984. 2002 – finished his Matura exams in Klagenfurt. 2004 to 2008 he studied painting and graphics at the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana.  2008/09 Erasmus exchange at the Faculdade de Belas Artes in Porto, Portugal. 2010 he graduated at the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana under prof. Gustav Gnamuš with a painting-music-animation project (when he also became self-proclaimed “colour conductor”). From 2011 to 2015 he was member of the AAI collective (Articulacion Artistica Internacional). 

He works between Austria and Slovenia as a freelance artist, painter, illustrator and caricaturist for “Novice”, the regional weekly newspaper of the Carinthian Slovenes in Austria. He is also a mentor and facilitator of various drawing and painting courses.

2015 – The Haček Bookstore, Klagenfurt, Austria:Exhibition on World Book Day (Watercolour miniatures).

2014 – Hostel Celica, Ljubljana, Slovenia: Extensive exhibition of the concept of “colour conducting” (color-light-music animation) in the rooms of the former isolation cells (darkrooms) of the army prison.

2014 – The “Alkatraz” Gallery, Metelkova mesto, Ljubljana, Slovenia: “Prostosti/Freedoms. Exhibition with opening performance in the gallery as well as in front of the Ljubljana Ethnographic Museum and in the Hostel Celica.Multi-hour performance of the AAI collective with guests (Peter Ciuha and Tine Škrlj Jakomin): Music, dance, singing, masks and storytelling.

2013 – NLB Bank, Črnomelj, Slovenia:“Reciklaž kolaž/Recycling-Collage“ (Variations on the late Austrian artist Martin Esterl).

2013 – The Gornjesavski muzej Museum, Jesenice, Slovenia:“Sprevod” (The Procession). Exhibition of masks and paintings.  Mask performance: AAI and youth of Jesenice and the surrounding area. The final event of a three-day mask workshop in cooperation with the “Center Mladih Jesenice” youth centre.

2013 – St. Peter’s Church, St. Jakob im Rosenthal, Austria: “Kaleidoskop/Caleidoscope”. Exhibition with mask performance for the opening of the exhibition with AAI “Forces of Nature” (in cooperation with the AAI and Tine Škrlj Jakomin).

2012 – The “Vorspann” Gallery and the “Zarja” Forum, Eisenkappel, Austria: “Am Übergang/Point of transition”. Colour conducting, light painting with poetry. Reading with music and live broadcast by Radio Agora.  (In cooperation with the AAI collective)

2011 – K&K-Centre, St. Johann, Austria: “Spheric Harmonies”. First public presentation of the painting concept colour conducting (= painting with colour-light-music animation). Accompanied by reading, music and other light paintings with poetry. (In cooperation with the AAI collective)

2006 – “((stereo)) backstage”, Klagenfurt, Austria: Opening of the exhibition room “((stereo)) backstage” of the ((stereo))-club in Klagenfurt with Albert Gunzer, who was Klagenfurt’s City Councillor at the time.
